Digital ADD & Digital AFR — What They Are

Afro Dollar Money operates a closed-loop digital currency network with two internal instruments:

  • Digital ADD (AFRO Dollar Digital) — the US domestic stored value unit, used for payments, transfers, and giving within the United States.
  • Digital AFR (American Freedom Reserve) — the cross-border stored value unit, used for international transfers and commerce across 54+ African nations.

Both Digital ADD and Digital AFR are equal to Ȿ1 AFRO in internal value. USD never converts inside the ADM platform. When a member or merchant wishes to convert AFRO to USD, they submit a bank settlement request. Their bank converts AFRO to USD at settlement. ADM charges a 3.5% flat exit fee on all USD conversions.

100% USD-Backed Reserve: Every Ȿ1 AFRO issued is backed by $1 USD held in ADM's master bank accounts (Chase Business Checking and Wells Fargo Business Savings). The reserve ratio is maintained at 100% at all times. ADM is a FinCEN-exempt closed-loop stored value issuer.

Digital ADD and Digital AFR are not securities, not bank deposits, and not FDIC insured. They are closed-loop stored value instruments operating within the Afro Dollar Money platform network.
